  18. #   This server is in danger of shutting down.  When I originally  *
  19. #   started the service, it was my intent that it replace the      *
  20. #   multitude of FSP lists that already exist, improving on the    *
  21. #   fact that most lists are hopelessly out of date before they    *
  22. #   reach interested people.  This was to be accomplished by       *
  23. #   allowing everyone to update the list as they learned of site   *
  24. #   openings and closures.  Although the server typically processes*
  25. #   50 or so requests a day, literally 99.9% of these requests are *
  26. #   to just obtain the "latest" list.  Unfortunately, very few     *
  27. #   people have been sending updates lately.                       *

  29. #   If you feel this list is a valuable service (or has the        *
  30. #   potential to become a valuable service), I strongly urge you   *
  31. #   to contribute your knowledge of sites.  If the list isn't      *
  32. #   kept up to date, it degenerates into just another of the many  *
  33. #   ftp'able lists, which I have no intention or time for          *
  34. #   supporting.  Please act soon, or this service will be removed. *
